Hello, how should the DLC be set when setting the torsion angle chord length and layup thickness as variables and LCOE as the objective function optimization in WEIS?

Hi,

This sounds like an ambitious optimization problem. I don't have specific guidance, but you should use the DLCs that will impact the merit figures and constraints in the problem you have configured.

Since you are building your own, I recommend investigating the inputs to the LCOE calculation and see what cases you need to run that will impact those inputs (e.g., cost, AEP).

@dzalkind When calculating AEP in WISDEM, how is the Weibull distribution set? In the current WEIS, AEP cannot be calculated.

Hi,

AEP is calculated in WEIS here. It is connected to the LCOE calculation here.
