Script does not fix sound on HP Chromebook G6 EE

Describe the bug
After reenabling the SND_SOC_INTEL_AVS_MACH_MAX98357A module in my distro's kernel config and running the script, I still get no sound.

MX Linux 25 RC1 (Debian 13)

The logs show the module isn't loaded. You must have built the kernel wrong or booted the stock kernel.
