unknown error during import SPSS file to pandas using pyreadstat.read_sav using readstat #356

First: Thanks a lot for your tool and your time spent to make it even better!!!
Describe the issue
Due to the import an unknown error occurs. The changes made in pyreadstat 1.2.8 lead to this error, importing with 1.2.7 is ok.
The edits leading to this problem seem to be made in readstat.

import df and meta dataframes from SPSS file
