Allow configuration of lint recommendations without having to edit abide.yaml

Different companies or projects might have different standards and lint rules that they would like to enforce. Instead of just having the recommendations only editable in the code in abide.yaml .. allow for overriding the recommendations via a similar file that lives in either the project root, or the user home directory.

Question: will allowing this sort of user override defeat the purpose of this project?
