Also, it would help if the dependencies weren't embedded in the JAR. They are a source of potential conflicts in large or servlet rest-api applications.

Hi, thanks for the feedback! Adding this to Jcenter is on the list of things to do, but we haven't gotten to yet, will keep this open till we get to it.

I worked around this by creating a local Maven repo with this project's JARs in my project and then include that local repo in my project's dependencies. It's ugly and inconvenient to maintain, but it works. It would be much nicer if this project were listed on Maven central. Alternatively, there is a way to use GitHub as a maven repository: https://dzone.com/articles/using-github-as-maven-repository
