Bold characters not bold enough to easily distinguish vectors

I'm hoping to use this font in Typst for lecture slides, but I currently stick with Fira math or Computer Modern because the bold characters are hard to distinguish from the regular ones (the bold is too subtle), and students will definitely get confused (I've already had requests to change the font). It's a vector calculus course, where bold indicates vectors.

The LeteSansMath fonts have been designed as Maths companions for the Lato fonts, as such they share the same (rather low) contrast between Regular and Bold faces. This is a design feature.

Thanks for the reply - it's a bit unfortunate to be honest, as maths has different legibility requirements compared to prose, and a subtle bold is problematic when it leads to semantic confusion (scalars vs vectors for example). I'm puzzled because I see Lato having weights 100 to 900 so in my view the bold math could be more contrasty without clashing with the family design. Anyway, just my personal views, I'll stick with Fira or Noto etc. as I can't force a font on students that they find hard to read.
