Here, for the given linear model the value of y intercept is 3.75 and cofficient of x is 6.78x10^-5 .
But ,in the diagram, the line intercepts y axis between 5 and 6 , which is quite far from 3.75 and is a false representation of the model. Infact 3.75 is not even on the scale of the y axis.

Why is this needed?

It is technically incorrect represenation so i feel it must be corrected and it will help aid the understanding of novice readers reather than confusing them like how i got confused for a while.

Thanks for your feedback. The x axis starts at 20,000, not 0. When we compute: 3.75 + 6.78 ⨉ 10^–5 ⨉ 20,000, we get 5.106. So the diagram is correct (although to be fair I'm not sure why that 5.1 looks more like a 5.3).

It's quite common to have an x axis or a y axis that doesn't start at zero, especially when most of the data is far from 0: if I extended the x axis to go from 0 to 60,000 instead of 20,000 to 60,000, and the y axis to extend from 0 to 9 instead of 4 to 9, the part of the graph that we're interested in would be tucked in the top right corner.
