Can't clear Open Anyway alert in System Settings

I attempted to run an unsigned app, and got the usual MacOS warning, Sequoia version. So, I decided to give Sentinel a try, and the app opened without issues.

But I seem to be permanently stuck with the "This.app" was blocked to protect your Mac" in System Settings, Privacy & Security. Clicking Open Anyway opens the app in question, but the message seems to be permanent.

I did try rebooting the Mac, but that had no effect.

Hmm, I'm not sure what to tell you as that's an OS related issue from the sounds of it.
All my app does is either turn off/on gatekeeper if you use the big toggle in the app or remove an app from quarantine list if you drop it in Sentinel. I have no control over what the macOS settings app shows unfortunately :(
You could try disabling gatekeeper and then enabling it again using the big toggle switch in Sentinel if you haven't already. That might jiggle the macOS cache.
