Sentinel-arm.zip or Sentinel-intel.zip not allowed by Gatekeeper

If I download the DMG (universal binary) and just copy it to the Applications folder and it opens no problem… but, if I install any of the architecture specific zip files and copy the resulting app in Applications folder, they will show an error that the application cannot be opened. I don't know if it is the notarization or other problem, but as I don't usually remember the command in Terminal I use Sentinel, but as it is Sentinel itself that doesn't work and I can't allow it.

I am trying with version 3.1.3 and I am on Mac mini M4 Pro with Tahoe 26.0.1

Hmm, that's pretty strange.
I just tried all of the download options on my end and it works fine.
Looking at the entitlements for these downloaded app bundles, they all show green:

In this last version is where I switched to having separate zip files per architecture. The Updater from the previous version of Sentinel doesn't know how to handle that change, so 3.1.3 required a manual re-download.
Once you drop the file from the DMG in /Applications, next update that comes out should work fine to auto-update from inside the app.

This is the problem. If I download the Universal Binary in the DMG there is no problem, I copy it to the Applications folder and I can open it right away… but if I download any of the ZIP files, copy them to the Applicatons folder and try to open them, I get the error message that the application can’t be opened. I have tried in two different machines, one with macOS 26.1 and another with macOS 15.6 both with the same results. I try to test it in new machines right out of the box to see if there is anything in my system that is interfering. Thanks for your apps and time and cheers from Spain, Victor Bottacco

But I have just dropped it inside de Applications folder substituting the Universal Binary one and when I try to open it I get the message that this app cannot be opened (it is in Spanish):

I have reinstalled the Universal Binary from the DMG and it works fine. Then I have dropped the Sentinel ARM version from the ZIP file inside Sentinel Universal Binary in the “Allow unsigned app to launch” and now the ARM version works fine.
