win 1709 it always ask to auth ??
pls add options without no auth or describe how to noramal config or use app;
so much text and mothing inside to resolve real first run case....
add simpla GUI will be more better....

To view the streams without needing a login, do the following procedure

Log in to the administrator panel (to do this, use the browser of your choice and open the url http://[ip]:[port], where [ip] is the IP or host where the streamproxy is running and [port] the door).

Click login in the top left corner. Use an already registered username and password and if you don't have one, use the username admin, password admin

Once logged in, go to the users option on the top panel and edit the anonymous user

Check all authorization roles except Administrator

Save and stop and start the server

It will now be possible to watch streams without the need for a password.

Another solution is to put the username and password in the stream url as an example

http://myuser:mypassword@192.168.1.22:4211/play/t001

yes it work thx for answer;
one con if strean client disconnected it stop redirection process and need again manual start stream;
will be good to start auto on client access etc;

Pls, check the file streamproxy.config.json if have options below

"startOnInvoke": false,
"hideStoppedStreamServerInPlaylist": true,
"stopOnNoConnection": true
}

if yes, change the option startOnInvoke to true, with this, the streamserver will be started when any client connects to this streamserver

If you don't want the streamserver to be "closed" when there are no more clients connected to it, just change the stopOnNoConnection option to false
