Does anyone know how to overcome the limited number of stream configurations provided by the AVDECC entity controller on a Mac? For example I would like it to transmit 96 channels as 3 x 32 channel streams.

Hi Richard, I'm not sure that we have tried that configuration. It may well be a limitation of the Mac AVB implementation. We'll do a quick test.

Thanks Andrew - the only configuration that we can use for our purposes (96 channels) now is the 128 channel configuration comprised of 5 x 24 channel and 1 x 8 channel streams. It seems strange that other configurations aren't listed within the entity controller listing.

Hi Andrew, just checking whether you managed to do any tests with Talker stream configurations other than those listed by Apple's AVDECC entity controller? I guess that I am limited by what is provided in the drop down?

Hi Richard. We did some tests here, but I forgot to close the loop and write back to you. In our experiments we were limited to the formats in the drop down - just like you guessed. Sorry about that.
