Seach Suggestion not displaying

Seach Suggestion works for the old theme but doesn't work for this one.

I am a web developer too, if you could guide me I could give me a little guidance how to fix it I could look into it and push the commit to fix it.

I also plan to make a few more improvements so would be better to commit to this one as well to fix issues for everyone not on my app.

Hi! Thanks a lot for reporting this and offering to help, that’s really appreciated.

You're right, but search suggestion isn't implemented by default in the Velocity theme itself, it's actually provided by a separate first-party package. That's why it’s not included out of the box in Visual Debut either.

That said, it would definitely be a great addition, and we’d love to have it.

Here’s how you can get started:

• The current search form is implemented in: resources/views/components/search-form.blade.php

• To support search suggestion, you may want to convert it into a Livewire component that can handle dynamic search queries and return suggestions on the fly.

• For an even better user experience, it might also be helpful to add a setting in the Header → Search Block that allows users to enable/disable search suggestions from the Visual Editor.
