SDK 39 and new GA supported?

I've been using this library without problems in my previous project but looks like it no longer works with the new GA setting.

Google Analytics are using Firebase settings since October and no longer producing UA codes but rather G-

Is this library still compatible with G codes?
Are you guys still supporting breaking changes?
