Failed to load the local pdf file and here also show the deprecated message.

Also i'm using Xampp as server.

Got same error. @bradtraversy any solution to this?
I think they made several changes to pdfjs-dist in newer version and I could not find a proper documentation to use this.
I am trying to implement with vuejs(vue-cli) app and there is not a single example on internet. Getting harder for me to implement this with SFC and vue-router and babel-loader.

Edit: I solved this issue by adding line
pdfjsLib.GlobalWorkerOptions.workerSrc = '//mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/build/pdf.worker.js';

Change the pdf.worker,js path with the same version you are using.
