Sync with Readability

Please add the ability to pre-fetch articles through something like the Readability API and save the result in the database. Benefits:

• the article is still accessible if the original website is down
• the article is accessible without the need to go to another website
• the article is readable in a clean view: no ads, sidebars, unwanted sharing buttons, ...

Basically yes, but probably it's not going to happen during the next few months. Not enough freetime :(

@cdevroe i can only guess what the cronjobs for oembed do (they don't seem to work in the oss version?).
But would that be a possible approach to get the content in a similar manner?

@ckrack You can set them up on your local install if you'd like... they allow the previews in the app to work such as video, soundcloud, recipes, etc.

@ckrack @fnkr I find myself wanting this more and more. But mostly for Daring Fireball reviews since John's text is unreadable! ;-)

Honestly, I don't think it will be on our radar until after our redesign is done and we've added some of the upcoming features like custom labels, auto-complete tagging, and contexts.
