Other indices?

We recently implemented similarity/dissimilarity in #24 and #25. There are other similar (ha!) metrics that we might want to consider. Some are listed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qualitative_variation#Indices_for_comparison_of_two_or_more_data_types_within_a_single_sample

The goal of this issue is to identify candidates that might be useful in the kind of applications we tend to use divintseg for, especially in https://github.com/vengroff/censusdis. We can then create an issue for each of them.

Note that our main diversity metric is the Gini-Simpson index (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diversity_index#Gini%E2%80%93Simpson_index). We may want to also include other measures from that page as well.

Hey Darren, I looked through the wikipedia page you mentioned and found the following indices that I think divintseg would benefit from having:
Hutchen's square root index
Lieberson's isolation index (as opposed to "Index of Isolation")
Bell's index
Gorard's index of segregation (similar to current index of segregation except with changes to the inside of the summation)

Please let me know if you would like me to implement any of these indices, or if I should explore other options. Thank you so much in advance!

All look good. I think it's probably best to create a new issue for each one individually, like #28. Bell's is a good one to start with.
