Future of koji

While I've been working on koji, I discovered another project: https://github.com/Everduin94/better-commits

better-commits does the same things as koji, some things even better and more extensively.
This got me thinking: What should the future of koji be? If there is another project that has the same goal, bigger feature-set and the (seemingly to me) only thing differentiating is the programming language, why/how should koji exist?

I would love to hear anyone's input on this. Thanks a lot.

IMO, I don't want to have to install tools like this with npm/pip/gem etc. I just want a single binary so prefer Rust/Go versions of these tools.

While the above is true, I think the existence of an already-good tool should really serve as inspiration -- it certainly hasn't stopped the slew of other Rust rewrites. I prefer the question of "where does that tool stop short"? Commits are complicated.
