Number of Primitives and Number of Shapes only count what is within the view and has to be rendered. |

Unfortunately this is rarely documented but easy to explain:
Number of Primitives: Points; Lines; Triangles
Number of Shapes: Opaque + Transparent
Number of Sensors: All what a sensor is and connected to the browser (TimeSensor, ProximitySensor, ...)
