Cannot re-add a user that has removed themselves from a sharing group

If a user removes themselves from a sharing group, redeem sharing invitation will not subsequently allow them to re-add themselves if they are to get another sharing invitation. It gives error messages like this:
User id: 2 was already in sharing group

This will also require at least some testing in the iOS client, and SharedImages.
