What should we do in 2020 with the "Device Intent Signaling" topic in Annex A (“Futures”)?

This is in regards to Device Intent Signaling (e.g., MUD), from the Futures section. Has enough changed in industry that we should revisit this capability as part of the baseline? 

(The Futures section (Annex A) of C2 lists candidate capabilities that some of the C2 group supported, but that the group as a whole did not reach consensus on . It was agreed that these topics were important enough to signal to industry, “Watch this space, these are most likely to become baseline over time.” )

Additional information: From a conversation with NIST staff, besides MUD they are also looking at heuristics and fingerprinting, like C2.
