Triggering Profiles #5

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I was wondering if you're aware of a method by which you could externally trigger SD profiles? Currently I'm triggering blank applets that are associated with profiles, but it's a bit janky. If there were some way to change profile via a script of some sort, that would be awesome!
