It would be great to have a guide for customization if users don't want to just use the off-the-shelf plots.
Maybe there’s an unsourced qmd called custom_plots.qmd that is more like a guide to setting up a custom observable plot using knowledge of your own data. kind of like a heavily commented and simplified version of this: https://github.com/mcfrank/peekbank-development-page/blob/main/plots.qmd
and then in the readme we could say “here are two ways to make this work":
- select which “autoplot” script you want to insert and specify the variables in the yaml,
- directly customize code in the “manual plot” script.
