I find the idea of this project quite sensible. Do you know of any equivalent projects/solutions for other languages, like Kotlin or Java for example? Do you know of any competitors to this tool, i.e. alternative solutions to the same problem?

Background: I would like to benefit from the same tool in backend programming.

No, unfortunately I don't know about similar tools. That's is kind of why I started the project.
OTOH I heard that IntelliJ recently added an MCP server, and I'm not sure if that supports using the refactoring tools of IntelliJ. It is something I want to try. I would still want to build this project further so we don't rely on JetBrains, but it could be a good workaround for now.

That looks like a super exciting project, although it seems to be somewhat orthogonal what we do here. Thanks for linking it. I'll make sure to check it out in more detail.
