Describe the bug

when I run cagent run, i've been having trouble with cagent deadlocking

Version affected

v1.18.7

How To Reproduce

Not totally sure.

When i sig abrt it, i get this:

OS and Terminal type

MacOS / terminal / running inside a Docker container with -it

anecdotally, it seems to happen during tool calls -- but that might be a red herring

Is this reproducible on the latest version of cagent?

yep! just repro'd on 1.19.0

here's what it looks like when it's stuck. The working spinner is frozen.

some tests i ran:

• i can repro the deadlock in v1.19 and v1.16
• i cannot repro the deadlock in v1.15
• sometimes, when running v1.15, i get an anthropic 400. This may or may not be related
