[android] save file becomes 0 byte if you open a file from flash drive, remove the flash drive then plug it in agan

so if i open a file in flash drive, remove the flash drive, plug it back in, then save the file, this file will become unrecoverable (0bytes). even if you try to save the file in the tablet's storage folder as opposed to the flash drive, the file will still become a 0 byte corrupted file. you can sometimes crash the app when saving too, but sometimes it will still run fine but everything you save will become corrupted.

Wow, pretty wild. It sounds like a pretty major bug in how Qt handles files unfortunately. I don't really see a way of fixing it directly, but the saving on Android will probably get changed to instead store stuff in the internal application data instead of on the file system, due to all the problems it has.

Out of interest, is there anything in the log file about the save failing? You can enable the log file via Edit → Preferences → General, under "write debugging log to file". Then make the problem happen, restart Drawpile so that you can save files again and then go into Help → Log File to save the log somewhere.
