Not able to run using an NVIDIA discrete graphics card #370

Describe the bug or feature
When running Design on a dual GPU laptop, I am not able to run the app in the NVIDIA discrete graphics card using the NVIDIA proprietary driver
- Version 49-alpha1
NOTE: if this is an issue only for dual GPU notebooks, it is a low priority issue, as the integrated GPU is good enough for Design.
NOTE 02: If this is an issue running Design using properietary NVIDIA drivers, I would not consider it a low priority issue. I am not able to test this scenario.
Step to reproduce an issue (omit for feature request)
- run Design on a discrete graphics card
- the application runs, but the app window is not shown and there are graphical artifacts on the display
Expected behaviour
It should be possible to run Design on NVIDIA discrete graphics card
