Fix floating panels inside the window

I suggest making the properties and layers panels embedded (instead of separate floating windows) and accessible via a button located in the header, as in many Gnome applications? It seems to me that this would be in the spirit of your application, very minimalistic and compact (all in one window). This could be made an option so that it would be possible to keep the previous command.

That's why I clarified that this might be an option. Besides, not everyone has a second monitor.

This needs some consideration. The current design is intended to allow use of the layers and properties windows as non-modal dialogs. i.e. not blocking access the main application. This is highly desirable for the layers window and essential for the properties window.

Design is also intended to be used as a mobile application for viewing drawings. In this context the windows do not work correctly.

It is possible that for mobile screen sizes the application should use a bottom sheet:
