Error when reading MPR file which was from batch mode (EC-lab)

Hi,

Have tested with a number of files, both generated normally and through batch mode, and the batch mode files gie the following error:

NotImplementedError: Column ID 182 after column Ns is unknown

Unsure if there is a workaround? A lot of our data was measured using batch mode.

See e.g., #112 for issues with column IDs. These can change across eclab versions and it is hard to keep up (well, impossible if no-one is available to do the work). Perhaps to help others you can report your eclab versions and some more context about the kind of measurements, ideally even sharing a minimal file that fails to parse.

Hi, this is with EC-lab V11.50. Actually in the last few minutes I have realised that the actual issue is when you export the .mpr to an .mpt, the original .mpr changes and becomes unreadable by galvani.

When using a version of the same .mpr which had never been exported, galvani works fine. Bizarre. The .mpr file even increases in size after exporting an .mpt from it.

Yes, this is a known issue, see the issue here dgbowl/yadg#41

I believe yadg should be able to parse mpr files that have been "modified" by EC-Lab on export to mpt just fine.
