How to handle a streaming response with the null character as delimiter?

Server example:

yield (json.dumps(data) + '\0').encode('utf-8')

requests client example:

for chunk in response.iter_lines(
    chunk_size=8192,
    decode_unicode=False,
    delimiter=b'\0'
):
    if chunk:
        data = json.loads(chunk.decode('utf-8'))

We don't support the delimiter argument in our iter_lines API.

def json_with_null_char_iterator(byte_iterator):
    ...  # This one's up to you to figure out.

for payload in json_with_null_char_iterator(response.iter_bytes()):
    ...
