I was about to make a post about this as well. You get the warning even with the out of the box fastAPI example: from fastapi.testclient import TestClient
from main import app
client = TestClient(app)
def test_read_root():
response = client.get("/")
assert response.status_code == 200
assert response.json() == {"Hello": "World"}results in: I can't find a clear explanation of how to handle this or context for why I'm getting the error or how to fix it. Is this something that needs to be changed in fastAPI?
