window transparency issue on Hyprland

so, i got the shimeji working. a kind person gave a command to fix it. but now, the window actually 'housing' the shimeji just shows a blurred version of my wallpaper, and not the window behind it. is there a way to fix it? the command im using is: 'java --add-opens java.desktop/sun.awt=ALL-UNNAMED -jar shimeji.jar'

the dark window is my terminal. the shimeji is rendering fine, but the window with the shimeji ignores the window behind it. i am using Hyprland on arch.
