I moved to sdboot on f39 if I remember correctly. Installing it was pretty straightforward but configuring later when you need to change things like persisting cmdline was a nightmare. Other distros that enable sdboot have custom tools to do that, but I need to do it manually. Arch wiki was a literal lifesaver, although finding which method works was still a challenge. |
