Connecting Sentry to Wifi without Mac/Windows

Hey!
I received my Node/Sentry last week and I'm trying to get them connected to my Wifi. Node worked by adding the config to the SD card, the Sentry on the other hand did not.
Can you expand the documentation on how to set up the Wifi connection and possibly even release the source code of the Sentry software? I am for example not sure I'm even on the latest firmware.

There are two example serial commands at the end of the firmware readme to start serial and then three on here that look like they might join the wifi:
Examples:

//Sentry Uart
Serial.begin(115200);
Serial.println("fiberpunk");

&&SSID:test-wifiname
&&PASS:test-password
&&NAME:test-sentryname

I haven't tried any of these because I have a Windows host I was able to use, but this may help get someone going someday.
