how to apply overrides?

In my old semantic ui folder, there was a subfolder for overrides. I copied them all out to a single stylesheet and required them in the block like so:

`@import "semantic-ui";

/*
 *= require_self
 *= require fomantic_overrides
*/

but fomantic_overrides is not applying. how can i accomplish this theming?

i was just trying to override forms, inputs, dropdowns, modals, etc. i ended up getting fomantic from a cdn and then applying the styles via stylesheet_link_tag after
