State of the Repository

While tracking our dependencies we noticed that the project has not have a release for over a year. This may be okay, if the code is considered feature complete and does not have any known issues. Seeing there are still open issues and PRs I want to ask what the current state of the project is.

Are there new releases planned in the future?
