Also is it even possible to get temperature values from Lepton 3, because it does not have a radiometric output?

This is a duplicate of a few other issues here. The thing that sticks out to me is that the firmware version call returns a funny number, which may indicate some incompatibility with the firmware on the PT itself. @GGGriffinCovert do you recall if something changed in the firmware to support the newer leptons that maybe just needs an update here?

Oh I was a little hasty - this is a PT1! In this case, Inwould pursue updating firmware on the PT1 itself.
