.tiff not written on macOS #91

Hi,
I have this issue with SmartMap that it just does not write the .tiff file with the interpolated values. It does pretty much all the analysis (I think) but does not write the .tiff. I have been batting with this for 3 days now and I really need a fix as some deadlines are coming along. Attached is a copy/paste of the python warning tab in qgis.
The data that I am testing the plugin functionality has been used to perform smartmap interpolations on a windows environment last year.
