What are the requirements for moderating the forum?

It looks like the forum is fairly well behaved, but this may be because it is well moderated.

How do we 'cover off' the moderation of the forum, ensuring it's not left to one person?

So far I haven't had to discipline anybody, or fight spam. But that could well happen, and would then be a forum moderator task. More typically, since people rarely help each other on the forum, “moderation” means responding to the questions of the users, with the hope that the same questions won't get asked again in the future since the answers are publically searchable on the forum...
