Add the ability to easily change column names in the add in/extension

Currently there is a box where you enter tag names or descriptions to search for the tags. Please create the functionality to specify a column name for each of the tags. Right now they return with "value ..." It would be nice if there was a box on the left for the tag search terms and then a box on the right for the specified desired column names. The work flow for a user here will likely be to copy a list of tags that they searched for or were given out of excel. Then paste those in the box on the left. Likely the user will then have descriptions or self entered free text friendly names that they type into excel or retrieve. They could then paste these into the box on the right. The script should then rename the columns with the friendly names. This should also apply to the jmp live auto refresh script. The ability to paste the entire list of tag names and friendly descriptions is critical. Needing to go through line by line and edit the tags with the desired text is not practical.

Today you can use a 'friendly name' in the output table, but you still have several columns for each pi tag for interpolated values, and they are prepended with the data type. There should be an option to just use the friendly name.

if we want to use the semicolon format to differentiate rather than having a separate entry box for friendly names then 2 things

1. it needs to clearly call out that a semicolon is the format to do that
2. People will need to be shown that they basically should create a table of tag names in excel and then a table of friendly names in excel and then concatenate them with a semicolon in between. Tag pulls can be hundreds of tags and people arent going to go type in semicolon then friendly name. I liked the separate box method coded in once so that people can just paste one column from excel then a separate paste of the 2nd column. Seems like it might be some extra hours today but save some people pain in the future.

I see what you mean. What about having the tag entry area be a JMP table embedded right in the window? That way you could copy/paste both at the same time and visually verify they all match up.
