Layout Column support for text and tables

Hi All,

Not sure how difficult it would be to implement but it would be great if you could implement the ability to set a section of text or table into 2 (or more) layout columns. I need to output large 2 column tables which end up creating a lot of wasted space on the page and increasing the page count. Putting the table into layout columns would make things much nicer. I basically want the table to wrap around like shown in the screenshot. I hope this makes sense!
