Make a release?

I would like to work on getting an updated conda-forge recipe setup, but need to point to a specific release. Can you please Make a release w/in GitHub? That will allow you/me/someone to point to a single tarball to build the recipe. Happy to help write the recipe, but happy to make one of the ERDS people the maintainer if desired.

I strongly second this. This software performs well in benchmarks, and it is a shame that this repo doesn't seem actively maintained.

I ended up doing this on a fork here.

v1.1 is on bioconda, for what its worth, which means that there is a singularity and docker image from biocontainers. The singularity image throws a locale error for me, which i think is a problem with the container rather than my machine. that is what lead me to this and creating the fork.
