Minimum inter network burst (NB) interval, and minimum NB duration

Hi,
The algorithm is detecting "double" network bursts, that I would like to be considered as one network burst (attached example, vertical red lines indicate start and end time of NB). In the Axion software, it is possible to adjust the inter network burst interval. This parameter can help merging this double network bursts. Would it be possible to include such paramater? How could I do this?...Also, would ir be possible to include a minimum duration of the NB?

You might need to explore changing the value of sigma to get broader smoothing (not sure). See figure 2 of the 2018 paper.

Did you also try network spikes -- with perhaps altered settings for bin widths (broader than 1 ms, e.g. 5 ms?)

Otherwise, merging the individual network bursts into 'bursts of bursts' is similar to the problem seem at the elecrode level, and burst analysis methods are indeed available to do that. That would require new code though.
