Binning and gaussian filter widonws size

Hi, thanks a lot for the great functions.
I have been playing around with some parameters, but I am not very sure how all of them work.
May I ask if I should keep a particular relationship betweem the bin size ( originally set as 2ms) inside .nb_get_burst_stats_intensities() and the windows size for the Gaussian filter?. I am using now a 150ms window size for the Gaussian filter.

Hi, That will not be required. The bin size is meant for the counting of spikes within evenly spaced time intervals. The window size would help you catch longer vs shorter network bursts. Hope this is helpful, and cc'ing professor Eglen in case he has another point to add. Best wishes, Sahar
