Workshop Suggestions

Hello all,
It is great to see you guys enthusiastic and motivated about these workshops. I hope this happened earlier. Have you guys planned out the schedule for conducting the workshops?
It is always better that you do it as early as possible. If you plan it quickly you can also invite people from outside to give talks (Tech talks).
Also it would be great if you can record them and upload them to the college's server (you will have to request for storage, maybe even on youtube). This will enable people to gain knowledge even if they fail to attend.

No schedule has been planned for now. We plan to start giving talks as soon as possible and get the momentum going. Once the @iiitv/club_organizers team is setup, we can find empty slots and plan schedules for future talks. It is a work in progress.

Once a week minimum. Since sessions can be conducted by anyone who is interested, there can be more than one sessions in a week. Most sessions will have a target audience like 2nd year batch, 1st year batch and so on, so the schedule will be decided based on available time slots.

For open sessions (eligible for-everyone sessions), we will have to conduct them at weekends because of no simultaneously free hours available in college week-days. OR we can conduct a session multiple times in accordance with free slots for different batches. But this can only be decided after consulting with the session speaker (if he is ok to speak multiple times on the same thing). We can even use different speakers for a session of different batches but that will only be possible if we have enough speakers who are suitable to speak on the topic.

Ok great! So when and which is the first workshop, any idea?

First we will have a Python workshop for 2nd years. When is not decided yet, waiting for @iiitv/club_organizers .
