Support: Incomplete records / skip-able questions #96

How does Impactasaurus handle incomplete questions? How can we make questions skip-able?

Incomplete data can be tricky to deal with correctly and can be difficult to communicate the effect is has on results, particularly longitudinal studies. Impactasaurus aims to be a very easy to use and understand application, and as such, we have chosen to avoid this particular complexity. Incomplete questionnaire responses are saved by the system, but they are marked as incomplete and not used in visualisations and reports. This keeps the app simple, but obviously there is a trade off in that beneficiaries who do not complete the questionnaires do not feature in the reports. If you head to the beneficiary's page, then click the records tab, the table will show incomplete questionnaire responses. The incomplete records can be continued so the beneficiary can pick up where they left off, either by reminding them or you completing the record with them.
