Could the results list be rendered with actual links? For instance the PubMedID could be a link to the PubMed abstract. This might set the scene for other items linking either elsewhere in the iOS app, or to external details pages.
Ok, we've kind of discussed this in the other mail where I managed to forget that we'd discussed this a few weeks back...
More examples might be, in a publication report page, linking to an author report page, or in a gene / protein page we might link to the organism report page. The more I think about this, the more I'm thinking it's a bigger feature than we'd expected and probably requires a lot of navigating models to figure out what attributes are linkable and which aren't. I'd rather you got a good suite of tests done and refine bugs, than work on features until the last minute. And like you said in your other email, some of this was deferred to round 2 already.
