External assets linking

I generally use a CDN (Amazon, etc.) for hosting asset files. Is there anyway to enable an external url for JS and CSS in the production settings?

For JavaScript, all you have to do is use the facilities that are part of RequireJS. For example, see this StackOverflow Answer about how you can set your requirejs configuration paths to refer to the external file (note that unlike his inline example, you'll want to put this path configuration within your main.js file so it works with my plugin). The other thing you'll need to do is adjust your build file to use an empty path setting, so it won't try to include it in the optimization process. See the requirejs docs for how to set the build file. Since you're presumably using my plugin, you'll have to specify the location of your customized build file in the call to requirejsTag (see the readme for details).

Honestly for CSS I'd just make a separate link tag to load that file. What else would you need / want for CSS?
