Feature Request: "Other Expenses" #174
Description
I want to track one-off and recurring expenses in Tracktor that don't fit into fuel logs, maintenance, or insurance. For example, registering my car and getting a license plate (once-off) or paying vehicle-related taxes (recurring).
Right now, I have to enter these as "Maintenance," but that requires an odometer reading even when it doesn't make sense. Also, it doesn't handle recurring costs, and afaik it's not really possible to analyze those costs separately.
Therefore, I would like to suggest a new category called "Other Expenses" where the user can:
- Enter the type of expense via a category or tag (like "Taxes", "Fees", "Fines")
- Provide a title, notes, and the amount
- Optionally add an odometer reading for mileage-related expenses
- Optionally set a recurring cycle for regular expenses
It would also be great to have graphs later to visualize these expenses over time or compare different types (like costs year over year, or costs in last X months; or costs per category/tag). Having a separate category for all of this would make recording and anaylzing this information much easier and clearer.
