Requested "feature" re: a chapter about selecting hardware

Thank you for creating this OA resource; big fan of the work, and looking forward to using/sharing it more.

Wondering if you would consider even a brief chapter (or appendix) dealing with the topic of selecting among hardware options for carrying out simulation studies? (e.g., local vs. servers; selection of processors, memory, etc; what people can expect in terms of performance/feasibility with generic consumer laptops; what [approx.] price-points are good targets for particular/coarse levels of design complexity)

Hi John! Thanks very much for the suggestion. We will consider how to incorporate a discussion about these questions. But to be up front about it, neither Luke nor I feel that we have any expertise on this stuff, and it might be hard to say anything all that specific since it is constantly changing. So, whatever advice we can offer will come with a big caveat emptor.

That's fair enough. There's just nothing out there on this (as best I can tell), and so even y'all describing your setups and why you chose what you did (and why you didn't choose what you didn't) could be really informative to someone starting from zero.
