Im still here= ) and again im asking you to assist my case / improve CaesarSuite.
I occur a case when there is no way Xentry can display the value i need to see, it left behind any check procedure because of commercial interests of Daimler & im not even baming them, just a fact. As any diagnosis soft we using for MB has a way to display live data while here is only one way - interactive console. DAS can build a graph or display your own group of measured values same as Xentry, Vediamo or Monaco (8 looks harder, while 9 must be easier at this task). I just need that option in my build, i want to read data stream and visualise it with bar graph or lets say progress bar, this can become very handy option to use.

Yeah you can say that different ecu's / different values has thousand different way to be represented for end user, and thats a call.
In my case its UDS Can, I want to read:
SID_RQ = 22, RecordDataIdentifier = 50 75
22 50 75
and receive response e.g.
62 50 75 00 52
Where - 00 52 is a buffer to store value = 82.
So basically we need to input (select) request like "22 50 75", determine answer data lenght and its MIN/MAX for progressbar edges/lenght.
Checkbox/button for cyclic loop update parameter and a time delay.
Thats how i expect that can look like.

Always glad to know that you are around. I think it's an interesting idea, though I am not sure it can be implemented cleanly because of how specific this. After defining the request, interval, response decoding (bit and byte position, data size), error handling (which includes checking for the occasional 7F), it feels like a scripting system would fit this scenario better.

Hypothetically this would allow experts like you to build custom tools quickly, although the devil is in the details. I had an experimental version a long time ago that used https://github.com/oleg-shilo/cs-script ; this worked well but requires manually writing interfaces to bridge between the script and the host. Building that, along with tracking new changes and handling breakages is a lot of work that I can't keep up with so I did not follow through with that.

Another alternative is some sort of message server, could be as simple as a udp (or websockets?) server where received datagrams are sent down the existing j2534 connection..?
